Policy
Rovify Inc. (“Rovify”, “we”, “us”) operates the Rovify mobile application — a football/soccer social, discovery, and scouting platform for fans, scouts, athletes, and viewers. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. It describes the data practices of the app as it is built — we do not collect data the app does not use.

1. Who we are
The app connects to Rovify’s backend at app.rovify.io. Rovify Inc. is the controller of personal data processed through the app. For any privacy question or request, contact rovifyinc@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what the app needs to function. Specifically:
Account and profile information
- Name, email address, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, X, or Apple, the identifier and basic profile that provider returns).
- Your chosen persona (fan, scout, athlete, or viewer) and the profile details you add (e.g. favourite club, position, sport, country, organisation).
- A Rovify user identifier created for your account.
Content you create
- Photos and videos you choose to upload (profile picture, “moments”, athlete highlights).
- Messages you send in chat and introduction requests to other users.
- Other content you enter: captions, notes, watchlist entries, saved events.
Transaction information
- When you buy an event ticket you provide a holder name, email, and optionally a phone number. Payments are processed by our payment provider (see below); card details are entered on the provider’s secure page, not stored by the app.
- Purchase and wallet records (tickets, subscriptions, and, where offered, wallet top-up/withdrawal requests) are kept so we can show your history and service your account.
Device and technical information
- A device push token (the native Apple APNs or Google FCM token) if you enable notifications, so we can deliver alerts to your device.
- Basic technical information needed to make secure network requests.
Crash and performance diagnostics (only if enabled)
- If diagnostic reporting is enabled in a given release, we collect crash reports and limited performance data to find and fix bugs. This is processed through Sentry. We do not use this data for advertising.
3. Information accessed on your device but not collected
- Location. With your permission, the app may read your device’s location to power map and nearby-content features on your device. The app does not send your coordinates to our servers.
- Camera and photo library. With your permission, the app uses your camera and photo library so you can capture or pick images and videos. Only the media you actively choose to upload leaves your device.
You can grant or revoke location, camera, photo, and notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To provide the app’s features: profiles, chat and introductions, events and tickets, the social graph, scouting/watchlist tools, moments and highlights, and (where offered) subscriptions and the wallet.
- To deliver push notifications you have opted into.
- To process purchases and maintain your transaction history.
- To diagnose crashes and improve reliability (only when diagnostics are enabled).
- To keep the service secure and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. The app contains no advertising SDKs.
6. Data security
Data transmitted between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you request deletion, we disable your account immediately and then erase your personal data, retaining only what we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records required for tax or accounting) for the period required by law. Diagnostic data, when collected, is retained on a short rolling basis.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact rovifyinc@gmail.com.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This disables your account immediately and starts permanent deletion of your personal data. You can also request deletion by emailing rovifyinc@gmail.com. 9. Children's privacy
Rovify is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal data, contact rovifyinc@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. International users
Rovify operates internationally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app where appropriate.
